2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, role, organisation, password hash.
• Verification data: credentials, affiliations, resource declarations submitted by joiners.
• Project data: briefs, attachments, messages, applications, signed agreements.
• Usage data: log files, device and browser metadata, audit events.

3. Why we use it

• To operate the platform and match uploaders with joiners.
• To verify credentials and prevent fraud.
• To send service notifications and updates.
• To meet legal, regulatory and audit obligations.

4. Anonymity model

Uploader identity is hidden from joiners by design. Project briefs are screened to remove identifying details before exposure. Identity reveal occurs only when an uploader accepts a joiner.

5. Sharing

We share data with infrastructure providers under contract, with verification partners where applicable, and with authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal data.

6. Storage and security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is role-based and audited. Region-aware storage is available for institutional customers.

7. Retention

Account and project data are retained while your account is active and for a limited period after closure, except where longer retention is required by law (e.g., signed agreements, financial records).

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@chordexbio.com.

9. International transfers

Where data crosses borders, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified via the platform or email.
